Can you believe it’s been 25 years since we first saw “The Princess Bride”?  One of my faves!   

Director Rob Reiner will reunite with THE PRINCESS BRIDE stars Billy Crystal and Robin Wright to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their beloved fairytale movie.

Stars Cary Elwes, Carol Kane, Chris Sarandon and Mandy Patinkin will also attend the premiere of a newly-restored print of the 1987 movie at Alice Tully Hall in New York City next month (Oct12).

The screening is being held as part of the 2012 New York Film Festival in conjunction with the release of a new Blu-ray edition of the cult classic.

Reiner and the cast will also attend a Q&A session after the screening.
