While it’s been widely speculated for what seems like forever, several outlets are now reporting that Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez have been selected and signed to be co-hosts of the hit singing competition.

Perhaps the best part of the news is the fact that the news confirms that season one host Steve Jones will NOT be making a return appearance.  Thank-you!!

The fact is, Simon Cowell has been looking for two judges to host this season – one female and one male – for sometime.

Kardashian has likely been in the mix for a while thanks to her apparent friendship with Demi Lovato (according to The Hollywood Reporter), however Lopez is new to the rumour mill.

I’m not sold that 2 hosts will work, but I think a chipmunk with cue cards would be better than last season’s host.  I mean the guy was a train wreck all season ESPECIALLY during the finale.  He’s trying to boot people off the stage, then he stumbled through trying to talk to the winner Melanie Amaro right after the announcement.  Dude, she just won $5-million and you want her to tell you how she feels?!?!  The biggest flub of course came AFTER Amaro’s amazing and emotional final song.  His questions were embarassing and he had NO tact with the raw emotion of the moment.  Have a look – and enjoy the song!!
