Who knows exactly what this storm will bring to Waterloo Region, but I think it’s safe to say we better be prepared for the worst just in case!

On the ground we can sometimes lose sight of how incredibly powerful the weather systems on this planet can be.  Only when we see it from a MUCH different perspective can we truly appreciate what is going on.

There’s a reason why so many people around the world have been devastated by massive storms like “Sandy” which is about to hit us in one form or another.  Here’s time lapse proof from NASA of what the Canadian and US east coasts are going to be dealing with in the next couple of days…

The biggest problem of course is that “Sandy” is on a collision course with two other weather systems that could create a superstorm.  THAT storm could threaten upwards of 50 million people for days.

Forecasters at the Canadian Hurricane Centre say the so-called “Frankenstorm” remains on course to hit parts of southern and eastern Ontario with howling winds and drenching rain.

Make sure you take the necessary precautions to be fully prepared for any number of situations – including a lengthy power outage.
