2nd Annual Friendship Tournament

February 18th to 19th at the Kitchener Auditorium the Kitchener Ice Pirates and the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association are hosting their 2nd Annual Friendship Tournament. There will be 21 special needs hockey teams attending the tournament from across Ontario. All the teams participating are coed and formed by skill and developmental level, rather than age. The players on these teams have a variety of special needs, but they all share one thing: their love of hockey, and wanting to play one of Canada’s favourite games, just like their peers. Come out to cheer on these athletes and enjoy a hockey experience unlike any other.
