  • There’s a Song in the Air: A Timeless Holiday Classic Christmas Concert. Sunday December 17th at 7:30pm. Cambridge Arts Theatre, 47 Water Street South, Cambridge. Tickets are $25 dollars for adults, $10 dollars for students. Tickets available at http://arcady.brownpapertickets.com.
  • KW Singers Christmas 2017 Concert. Enjoy some Christmas and seasonal selections and an opportunity to join in a Christmas Carol sing-along. Friday December 1st and Saturday December 2nd. Calvin Presbyterian Church, 248 Westmount Road East, Kitchener. Tickets are $10 and are available at www.kwsingers.org.

Food and Entertainment/Social Events

  • Christmas Food Sale. December 14th to 22nd from 9:00am to 7:00pm and December 23rd from 9:00am to 2:00pm. St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 154 King Street North, Waterloo. For more information, call 519-886-0787.
  • Christmas Pop Up at Radisson Hotel Kitchener. Saturday December 16th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. With hundreds of dollars worth of raffle prizes, gift cards, gift baskets and more.


Information Sessions/Meetings/Seminars

  • Kitchener-Waterloo Fibromyalgia Support Group’s Holiday Special. Tuesday December 12th from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Bring a $5-$10 wrapped gift for their game. For more information, visit kwfbromyalgia@gmail.com.

Sports Events/Walks

  • Free Family Skate Hosted by the KW Community Spirit Lions Club. Sunday December 17th from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Pillers Arena, RIM Park, Waterloo. Enjoy free hot dogs and hot chocolate and meet with Santa on the ice from 12:15 to 1:00pm.

Other Community Events

  • Volunteer Gift Wrapping at St. Jacobs Outlets. Thursday December 7th to Saturday December 23rd. Wrapping hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 9:00pm and Saturdays from 8:30am to 6:00pm. St. Jacobs Outlets, 25 Benjamin Road East, Waterloo. Volunteers from Grand River Hospital will be wrapping gifts for free, but donations to Grand River Hospital are appreciated.
