Born and raised in Kitchener, George grew up listening to CHYM, and at the age of about 14 and thought it might be a fun way to make a living. After getting the chance to sit in and watch the morning guy do his show, George was hooked.George started his radio career in 1974 in Cambridge. Then in 1976, he started doing mornings in Tillsonburg, followed by mornings in Terrace B.C., then mornings in Tillsonburg again.George has been happily married to Carole, a former A&W car-hop, since 1977. They have three kids, who are now all in their 20’s, and
one beautiful Granddaughter, Georgia, and a beautiful Grandson, Owen. And they all still love the A&W.

Tara Connors was born and raised in North Battleford, a small city in Saskatchewan. During her formative years, she spent a lot class time in the corner for talking. It wasn’t until highschool when a teacher suggested a career in broadcasting that Tara realized you could make a living by talking. She got out of the corner and applied to broadcasting college.Tara's career has taken her from Yorkton to Thunder Bay then to Saskatoon. From there it was Grand Centre then Regina. After that she went running back to Saskatoon then over to Calgary and, since July of 2000, Kitchener-Waterloo. In her spare time, Tara loves watching movies, trying new recipes and reading. Tara is happiest when she's impulse shopping or sleeping.
