She’s back and better than ever, folks!

For the first time in almost six months, country singer Carrie Underwood appeared publicly to perform her newest single “Cry Pretty” at the Country Music Awards on Sunday night.

The singer had been keeping to herself due to a “freak accident” that left her with roughly 50 stitches in her face. In November, multiple outlets reported that Underwood took a spill on the steps outside her home, leaving her with multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts.

The fall required Underwood to have surgery on her wrist, too, but you wouldn’t be able to tell any of that from the stellar performance Underwood gave Sunday.

Viewers were eager to catch a glimpse of Underwood’s face after she warned fans that she might look different the next time she performed, but she looked flawless as ever when she took the stage to perform her newest song, “Cry Pretty.”

Shortly after her performance—for which she received a standing ovation, FYI—the singer was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year. Underwood took home the CMA for Vocal Event of the Year for her track “Fighter,” which she created in partnership with fellow country star Keith Urban.

The pair’s acceptance speech was a pretty sweet moment, too.

We’re so happy to see Underwood is back and better!
