The Countess of Wessex views the #FearlessGirl statue on International Women’s Day – which was first seen in New York’s Financial District. A copy will be here in London’s Paternoster Square for the next six months. As Chairman of the Women’s Network Forum, The Countess was attending The Market Open Ceremony for #IWD2019 at the London Stock Exchange. Her Royal Highness is the founder and chair of the Women's Network Forum, which provides an opportunity for senior leaders from UK companies to discuss the challenges and issues businesses face in attracting, developing, retaining and advancing women in the workplace. The #FearlessGirl bronze statue by Kristen Visbal, is a symbol of female resilience – and was commissioned to encourage gender diversity in the workplace. #BalanceforBetter #FearlessGirl #internationalwomensday
