This is our Development Officer, Jennifer Laurie, explaining why the work we do is so important. And it's why we'll be working hard today – along with our community partners – to raise money at the CHYM 96.7 Tree of Hope Radiothon, which will help fund the vital services we provide.

About Our Auction…

We are auctioning off seventeen beautiful trees decorated by individuals and businesses on the theme of Hope and Community.
All proceeds from the auction support programs and services that prevent child abuse and neglect. Since 1991, the Foundation has been committed to raising money to provide meaningful year-round support to children, youth and families. With your generosity, we are able to help families when they need it most and to make the upstream investments that keep kids safe and allow children and their families to thrive.
Your winning bid will give you a beautiful tree to decorate your home or office…
and, you will Make Something Good Happen.
BONUS!!!
The highest bidder on each tree at the end of the auction will be eligible for the winners draw. The winning bid for each tree will be entered into a draw to win four Gold Level Tickets to see the Toronto Maple Leafs take on the Arizona Coyotes February 11, 2020 in Toronto. These are AMAZING seats – Section 106, Row 11, seats 9-12.
And!!!
The team that designed the tree that brings in the highest bid overall will win four Gold Level Tickets to see the Toronto Maple Leafs take on the New Jersey Devils January 14, 2020 in Toronto.

About the Family Centre…

The Family Centre is also the site for many of the art, music, and theatre programs offered through The Resilience Project, a multi-year, nine partner project developing opportunities in the community for children, youth, and families to connect and to build resilience.

“For the last decade, The Family Centre has been a cornerstone of the work Family & Children’s Services does in the community and we are looking forward to the next ten years as we continue to ensure that children in our community are protected from neglect and abuse.  The Family Centre plays a key role in the delivery of programs and services that focus on prevention and provide meaningful, year-round support to children and families,” says Karen Spencer, Foundation Executive Director.
