Britney Spears is celebrating a MAJOR milestone this weekend – her second studio album, ‘Oops! I Did It Again’ turns 20!

To celebrate the amazing news, in an Instagram post celebrating 20 years of ‘Oops’ Britney writes, “Thank you to whoever made this ….. I just nearly dropped my phone I wasn’t expecting it!!!!! 20 years since the Oops! album …. the anticipation and the butterflies I felt before it came out were crazy …. all of my expectations were exceeded !!!! And it’s all thanks to you folks …. thank you for sticking with me and growing with me. I am one Lucky girl. God Bless and thank you all!!!!!! PS you see even 20 years ago I still liked to twirl.”

Prior to the release, Britney told MTV the album had a more mature, R&B pop sound to it, “It’s not something I changed purposefully.  It’s just something that kind of changed on itself with me being older.  My voice had changed a little bit and I’m more confident, and I think that comes across on the material.”
