Jake Gyllenhaal expressed interest in playing Batman in the upcoming DC Studios reboot, The Brave and the Bold.  The actor, who was previously considered for the role in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, stated that it would be an honor to portray the Dark Knight.  The Batman Part II, featuring Robert Pattinson, has been delayed to 2026, while The Brave and the Bold’s release date is still pending as the script is being finalized. If cast as Batman, it would not be Gyllenhaal’s first foray into the superhero genre, as he previously played Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far from Home.
