  • SueFest 2018 Live Music Fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Saturday, June 23rd. Knights of Columbus Hall (12 Catharine Ave., Brantford). Featuring Juno Winner, Jack de Keyzer, the Strummers Union, Tomi Swick and local band Huckleberry Ginn and more! The Keg Steakhouse and Zanders Fire Grill & Brew Lounge providing $5 per plate all-day barbecue. Extensive raffle prize table, bake sale, 50/50 draw, reptile show, balloon twisting, table magic, kid zone, free evening pizza, fireworks.  Advanced tickets $15.00 online at www.suefest.ca, www.ticketscene.ca and at PA Music Shop, Heart and Stroke Foundation and Knights of Columbus Hall all in Brantford. At the door tickets $20.00. Children 12 and under get free admission.

Other Community Events

  • William Scott Festival. Saturday June 23rd, from 10AM-6PM. Hunter St., New Hamburg. Had it not been for William Scott, New Hamburg might not have been created. We honour his memory and accomplishments with The William Scott Festival because we are thankful for the pathway he established. Activities include a Scottish Beer Garden, live music, a soap box derby and a Best Burger in New Hamburg competition.
